SNOW SPONSORSHIP
We are yet again awarding sponsorships to Kittitas County children who want to ski or snowboard!!! Sponsorships may include:
- Seasons Passes or Lift tickets
- Ski or Snowboard Equipment
- A seat on our weekly shuttle to the Summit!
- Competition Fees covered
This sponsorship is designed to support families who otherwise might not have the financial opportunity to ski or snowboard. If you do not fit within the recommended income scale, please don’t hesitate to still apply. We give first priority to lower income families, but we’re also here to help ALL children.
This year’s application question: Why do you ski/snowboard? You can write an essay, create a drawing, make a video, write a song- Communicate that memory to us however you can do so best. It is important that the CHILD answers this question, NOT the parents. Have fun with it. Think passion, not another school assignment.
Rules:
- Must be ages 5-18 years old on January 1, 2027
- Must reside in Kittitas County Full Time
- Must be able to load and unload the chairlift without assistance
- Submit one or more of the following: Short essay, music, artwork or video answering, “Why do you ski/snowboard?”
- Child must answer the application question in their own way. Parents may help facilitate, or lead the conversation, but the answer must come from the applicant.Applicants must be capable of loading and unloading the chairlift without assistance.
- All sponsored riders must accept, register, and pay the membership fee by November 23rd, or forfeit their sponsorship.
- Unless otherwise discussed, sponsored riders who miss more than 3 club rides must forfeit and reimburse their sponsorship funds in full
